The first trial seemed to go his way. It was a mistrial because the jurors couldn’t reach a unanimous verdict. The reports were that the direction was on the side of acquittal. Of course the second trial did not go his way.

I agree. My first thought was he should get more credit for End of Watch. And, yeah, Fury too.

Enough people didn’t watch the show though to the point it was given only four episodes for a second season. If the “social agenda” was a reason for a sizeable group of those people, then a company will probably consider that as a factor.
