Well, yeah. There are still a lot of old Star Wars characters and stories for them to incorporate into the show. They can go years without having to develop any original ideas.

They’ve made BASEketball, Team America, and a Mormon musical of some sort. I think there might be more, but I dunno.

I knew nothing going in and maybe I wasn’t listening super closely because in the reveal scene I thought he said his name was Carl. It was filmed very dramatically and I couldn’t figure out why.

I thought the episode was kind of a mess. The opening scene between Nolte and Jones looked like some weird hybrid of a play and the dramatic ending to a movie. By then end they were mimicking the style of an old horror movie. It fit the story; it just didn’t fit with most of what came before it.

Every time I see her name I hear it in my head as Hailey Bailey and think her parents did her a disservice.

I just went with woke as the generic term for conservatives’ disagreements with progressive positions/politics. It’s the term they use regularly (“go woke, go broke”). Well stated. The actual research behind these interventions is shaky at best. And most of the highly publicized studies don’t show results much better than “the kids didn’t get worse.”

I’m 100% in the Hulk cult. I think it’s great and better than most of the comic book movies that have come since.

If they can’t find new fans to replace those who fall off, then it’s a problem financially. Or if fans are mostly sticking around for the holdover characters, then that could be a problem. That’s the category I’m in.

Among those you list, there were only two movies (Spiderman and Black Panther) and one series (Falcon) I thought were worth watching. Maybe I’m missing out on masterpieces, but I just don’t care as much anymore. They can obviously get new viewers to replace me though.

I think there is a big difference between The Walking Dead and what they’ve done so far on this show. It’s not that I need to see more of Kansas and Eastern Colorado. It’s that they gave us nothing from the main characters for that time.

I dunno. I thought it was a “spared no expense” kind of show. Google says $10-$15 million per episode. And wasn’t it predicted to be a hit before it was ever released? I guess I just don’t get why they had to complete the entire game (apparently) in one season.

I was also. This show is just plowing through plot lines. In the beginning it was this huge task for Joel to try to get to Wyoming to find his brother. They did nothing in episode 3, which means they went from Boston to Wyoming in three episodes - four if you want count this one. That’s it.

Gotcha. My only connection to this is the show. I didn’t even know there was more than one game. I just assumed it was some kind of epic thing.
