When I watched The Northman, I thought, “Wow the plot of this movie really reminds me of Hamlet. They barely even changed the character’s name (Amleth).” In fact, the story of Amleth predates Hamlet and was likely an inspiration for Hamlet. But how many people know Hamlet compared to Amleth? How many people know Darth

This plan sounds kinda crazy to me. We’re going from a 14 year old Ellie - just seen bonding with an 8 year old - to an older, hardened version of the character between the seasons? That seems like a rather drastic transition. And if that’s where the character ends up, then I’m not sure I’m really interested.

I never read the book, but after finishing the movie I read about the differences. If the movie had followed the book’s plot, I probably would’ve hated the movie. The path the book apparently follows sounds terrible.

Thanks!

This trailer made me realize how little I remember from the most recent movies. Cena is Dom’s brother, but I have no clue who Helen Mirren, Brie Larsen, or Charlize Theron are. Also, Dom has a kid? And I guess Han is not dead for a second time?

I only saw him with the bank vault, which I thought was just a clip from Fast Five. Was he in the trailer in other parts too?

Holy cow this episode was hilarious.

The rumor I saw is that it’s going to be the Disneyland in Paris.

None of those numbers are good.

According to DVDtalk, you needed to navigate a weird menu to get it to play, but it played as a complete movie. You couldn’t skip around, though. I think I only watched it once. The original is obviously superior.

Interestingly, the special edition DVD of Memento includes a chronological cut.

One thing is for sure: if anything messes with Succession’s upcoming third season...

I laughed.

I didn’t know there was a twist ahead of time in The Sixth Sense or guess anything during the movie. I just remember thinking there was something off with the movie. At one point I thought maybe it was just poorly directed. haha By the end of course it made sense.

I’ll go to bat for The Village. It is one of the most tension filled movies I’ve ever seen. And it’s gorgeously shot. The scene with Howard waiting on the porch for Phoenix to arrive is still one of my all-time favorite movie moments. It’s so beautiful.

Yeah, I’ll take this kind of episode over last week’s diversion. I thought focusing on two characters with whom we have no connection and die at the end was largely a waste of time. In the third episode of the series, no less. Heck, the truck our two obtained didn’t even survive this episode. Here we got to focus on

Yeah. When I finally resigned myself to buying a minivan the middle seats were a big differentiator. Sto-n-go would have be great, but couldn’t get it with a hybrid and there was no reason to buy a Chrysler otherwise. Honda’s seats only moved side to side (which just seemed stupid) and the middle seat was a chore to

I could never imagine Mary Barra claim ignorance on something that’s bad for her company. Oh wait...

From the way it’s discussed around here I was surprised to see that Leslie Grace has nothing announced on IMDB beyond this canceled movie. She has one film credit to her name and now...nothing? Maybe she was awful. I don’t know. But neither does anyone else around here. I’m sure execs would’ve preferred a gigantic box

And in the clip, before he lifts the kilt (in front of an audience) Richardson says she just wished the kilt was shorter. That’s a gigantic difference from actually flashing your brand new costar in the hallway of the TV studio.
