That’s what I was thinking. Also, the average new car price is approaching $50k so this Miata still doesn’t seem too bad to me.

I wondered the same thing. Evidently it really is a word

I thought it was awful.

Calvary

I dunno. That sounds like a pretty relevant concern for Santa Claus.

Is Hilarie Burton ill? Bure is six years older than Burton, but looks ten years younger.

Yeah. I checked wiki for a list of what was included. Of the 15 programs (movies and TV) I’ve seen 5. I’ll get to Black Panther at some point to bump it up to 6. But I’ve found almost no pull to watch the TV shows. And of the movies I watched, only Spider-Man stuck with me.

Fair enough. When my acquaintance (Melissa) told me the story I can’t remember how old she said she was. Maybe she wasn’t actually underage so my statement was overstating it. But it was a really big gap and he was inviting her to go on tour and all kinds of stuff.

When I worked at a grocery store a coworker was very excited about the product she was going to be selling that day at her little food stand. She said to me, “Baby these hotcakes are gonna sell like...uh...” and then she just walked away.

Same. We keep the audio low because the TV is right by the bedrooms in our house. But once I can crank it up, I’m usually fine. Aside from Nolan movies, at least.

Treacly! That was the word I was looking for. I kept thinking treckling, but knew it wasn’t right. It’s been bugging me for like 5 minutes. Thank you.

“...though he gives an indisputably star-making turn, it still feels like a villain—even one as well-reasoned as him—shouldn’t be the most important, or interesting, character in this hero’s tale.”

Ironic

Yeah. I didn’t really find it to be an endearing story. I remember feeling pretty disappointed actually. Weird Al is skeeving on underage girls? That’s just messed up.

I kid you not I have heard almost this exact story before from the point of view of the girl herself. The girl who told me the story was named...Melissa.

“...the Spurs only took action after “Primo’s conduct entered the public sphere” when reports first surfaced about the alleged harassment, and the team was “forced to act and release Primo.””

“And even though the experience and expense of going back has changed significantly for the worse, longtime fans continue to chase those feelings. There’s a desire to replicate those memories with their new families, even at great cost.”

Of course they are! Just like they did the 50th anniversary of Disney World.

Like the Fugates?

They had a deal recently where it was $20 for a year. There are a few reality shows one family member enjoys and the occasional decent movie. I can stomach $1.67/month for that.
