This has me super interested and I love the addition of turn-based, or pause-and-issue-commands feature. The setting and the premise sound very interesting as well, but how good does it feel to play? By that I mean, controlling and aiming in combat, the inventory, the UI, etc.
Late to the party (greetings from the dystopian future of 2019!) but I had picked up Observer on a Steam sale and have been playing it compulsively since. It is brilliant. The narrative, the atmosphere, the investigation, the world-building (the game is set in one apartment complex and yet reveals so much depth about…
Thanks, now I am crying too that we will never have it!
Thanks for the tips! I’m about to start my journey (it was on Steam Summer Sale)!
As a public school teacher I can tell you - good luck getting the shitty school wifi to run Stadia. :)
I am 100% with you. You do not have to see the entire anime to know if you’re going to like it or not. There are very very few anime that get better towards the ending, and even the ones that do - well you can tell whether you will like them in the first couple of episodes. These days new series get 3, 4 tops,…
In the interview above they confirm that BOO AND MINSC STAND READY!
Travis, as a huge Bloodborne fan, I can understand why you keep bouncing off it. First of all the core game doesn’t have a huge amount of replay value, most of the time it feels pretty same-y regardless of which final boss we are using. Secondly, it’s a bit of a weird beast - it’s coop but not really but you need to…

The first two episodes of We Never Learn were pretty funny (certainly far more than Quintessential Quintuplets with which it shares the main conceit and many tropes, and less skeevy), and the girls are far more interesting and are given more personality already. The male protagonist though might as well be a piece of c…
Some good second and third seasons, but out of the new stuff very few series have stood out. So far the only new series that I’ve enjoyed (after 2 episodes in) are Fruits Basket, Senryu Girl, and Carole & Tuesday. I had some hopes for the Midnight Occult Civil Servants but the first two episodes were... not good, is…
Also the basic umbrella fan turns Jinsuke Saze encounter into a laughable 15 second long fight. Every time he tries to iado strike, parry with umbrella which basically fills his parry gauge to full, then deathblow him. Repeat one more time and you’re done. Easiest mini-boss fight ever.
Oh wow, thanks for this gem!!! What a fantastic song and MV!
I’m enjoying the game quite a bit, I like that it actually has a decent story and feels like an Elder Scrolls game and gets the setting right. But those chests... Oy vey! I hate them so much!
Much thanks! Good guide, I’ve figured it out now and can stop stressing as much about Dragonrot. :)
What’s your secret? Who do I talk to to get a blood sample?
Great tips overall, just wish the Dragonrot would go into spoilers and you’d tell me when I finally get the mechanic to remove it. I got Dragon Heir’s droplet, which says it is used to remove Dragonrot, but I have no idea what to do with it. Emma doesn’t seem to tell me what to do with it. I just killed the Blazing…
As a huge fan of the original and of the tabletop RPG (currently running a V5 game!) I am cautiously optimistic. I really enjoyed both Dishonored games so these guys know how to make a fun game. Will it be a true Vampire game? Ehhhhhhh, some of it sounds on point (like the Resonance from the newest edition), some of…
I did shell out the money for TI4 after selling my well-worn copy of TI3, but I still can’t get anyone to play with me, even though TI4 is supposed to run faster and definitely has more streamlined rules. :(
I love how fairness is an ‘ideology’ now. Yes, fairness. Bunch of dumbasses.
