Just not feeling this. Too cold, too generically slick sci-fi aesthetic, not much sense of place or atmosphere. The spaceships do look cool but not terribly original.

My apologies. Somehow I failed to see that, this whole thread has become very long - that’s probably why. :)
I agree with almost everything you said, but piles of corpses has nothing to do with Lovecraftian fiction (in fact most of Lovecraft’s own fiction is pretty bloodless). It’s an annoying game mechanic that doesn’t serve any purpose except prolonging the fights. Hearts are OK though and are appropriately thematic.
Thank God. I didn’t mind the heart attacks that much but the addition of the corpses was stupid and added nothing to the game except prolonging fights. Now I can finally boot up Darkest Dungeon again.
Too bad Sacred 3’s gameplay doesn’t hold up a candle to this concept art because this is just gorgeous.
I main Leona and I’m crying tears of joy. Especially since they’ve also hinted at Project Leona skin.
Yeah I can see that, it is more sedate than other Trek scenes (I just went back and listened to all of them back to back and I think it’s even less energetic than Voyager’s), but there’s just something about it that conveys the vastness of space to me. Each their own. :)
Personally I almost completely agree with the rankings, except I would put DS9 higher. I’m sorry, I get what you’re saying about Enterprise’s opening and visually it was GREAT. But the music, just no, no no. I really liked the severity of DS9’s opening, its sternness actually went really well with the themes of the…
Awwww muffins, welcome to the US East and EU West cesspist that the rest of us Leaguers have to play in.
So I just want to get this straight: you’ve recommended an enjoyably funereal (funereal can be enjoyable? First time for everything I guess) walk through a depopulated English countryside while chasing (admittedly) pretty beams of light. And as a checkmark you put down a lovely soundtrack. Did you review a game or a…
I never noticed that one, but he does have a special reaction to another merchant in Novigrad who says something along the lines of: “No need to push or crowd!” even though it’s only Geralt around. Another awesome touch. :)
Now I’m not saying WoW is a bad game, I’ve had a lot of fun times in WoW, but why would I continue to pay subscription when there are MMOs as good as or better than WoW (IMO of course) that do not have online subscription and have an overall better late game and/or PVP?
I liked Ready Player One, it was goofy, funny and nostalgic enough without being grating. Armada on the other hand is the worst book I’ve read in 2015 so far. Its characters are either cardboard cutouts or caricatures, its twists can be seen a mile away, the protagonist is an awful insufferable boring nerd and it has…
Plainly you’ve never eaten enough oranges (also, GP built Guardian Angel, rezzed and now he’s eating oranges).
It’s ok. He’s sleeping with the fishes so Tahm Kench can bring him back any time.
Why meta? It’s a handy acronym for Most Efficient Tactics Available after all! ;)
Well I definitely feel the “Ёжик в тумане” vibe from it. Looks really neat.
Abandon ship! Abandon ship!!!!!!!!
I will gladly make it my priority to eat at a restaurant that has a no-children policy. I’m not a parent, I don’t want to be a parent, I don’t find your children adorable, and I don’t want to be around them when I’m trying to enjoy my food and good company. Take them to family restaurants which cater to your needs and…
I totally am! Just finished completely clearing White Orchard, completing the griffin contract next! I’m excited to make polar opposite choices this time around!
