Mandatory was issues 5 days before. This seems like a “meh insurance will pay for it” kinda thing.

To be fair the undercarriage did just get a nice bath.

Hell they sell some plastic space bags you park a car in and roll it closed and anchor with some tie downs so the cars can float around a bit and not get lost. They also stay dry from just floating around. The bags are like $600. Not the cheapest for the lot of us but saves things like this from happening.

Now playing

this sums up my issues with the game quite nicely.  They offer you this amazing open world they built for you then give you a time bomb in your brain to figure out.  It’s a WILD contradiction.  The game wants you to get lost in it and find your own story to follow.  However they hand you a hot potato and tell you to

Had a buddy working at a gamestop that is a stand alone store. I was killing time before his shift ended. Mother comes in and drops off a 8-10 year old. Kid walks straight up to the PS3 display and starts playing madden. Mother walks out and gets in her car to drive around to the salon on the next side of the parking

scalpers have shown how much crypto bros were willing to pay so the company feels it is necessary to pad profits

Looking at this list.
Perhaps bailing out GM in 2009 wasn’t the best of ideas. They deserved every ounce of failure that their complacency produced.

no amount of good looks could save that rolling ball of parts bin leftovers slopped together by a process bankrupting one of the biggest companies in the world.

Aww the deplorable SSR didn’t make the list. Every ounce of ugly as the HHR/PT Cruiser but twice the price, twice the power, triple the weight, and half the passengers and none of the utility.
I saw a gray nominate it but it didn’t make the list apparently.

A truck with a non usable bed, a convertible with a top that

Can we start doing IQ tests for more things.  Driving being one.  Renting a LARGER van another.  Ya know  stuff that can get other’s killed through your own stupidity.

The car already has seat weight sensors in it for ever seat location that has an airbag dedicated to it that changes it deployment. It is a lot more than the on/off sensors of old. If you are heavier it will inflate later so you have a denser bag to land on versus being lighter and needing a softer target to avoid

Alternatively the more fun “hack” is a piece of foil backed tape stuck over the rear sensor on the passenger side. The car screams a fit and sometimes wont even move till you get the tape off. Guess how we found that out.

The lack of interfacing the existing occupant sensors in the car to shut down the autopilot is a massive oversight. They have weight sensors on the seats from the airbag sensors. They can easily use a touch sensitive ring on the back of the steering wheel that can sense when a person is touching it.
They could even

The Hyundai auto cruise or whatever they call it will disengage after no inputs from the steering wheel that the weight thing here does. The cruise will slow the car to a stop in lane when it turns off after the steering wheel sits untouched for about 30 seconds. At least that’s what it does in my mothers SantaFe. Yay

The one big downside of the Highlander hybrid is that you gotta live with a Highlander.

Nintendo made enough off the slow seller WiiU to get a new generation of system out as well as thrive past that. The switch is still selling strong and rising on this list every day. Nintendo limiting their games to their consoles is what keeps the systems relevant. If they started pushing their games out to more

Make a build-a-car and build-a-racer thing where you play through a story and race to the top of a league. Unlocking upgrades and parts along the way.
Toss some new visuals as you go to get the upgrades to beef up the racer.

Again IF you need to do an update.

My e-trong has this. The high set screens turn off and nonessentital functions go away. The lower screen for the HVAC pulls duty to pull over things like the radio.  The gauge cluster turns into a muted and minimalist cluster that you can set a tone color to.

If it is an OLED screen (it should be) it can reduce to zero and only is illuminated on the pixels that are showing. black is off for them. There is no back-light to throw a gray buzz at your face.

The thing on the console is the UI knob so you aren’t 100% reliant on the touch screen. It probably has direct commands for the HVAC and other such things like the radio. It’s a safety thing that pushes the simple function of raising or lowering the volume a tactile switch so you aren’t looking down at a screen
