I mean, you can just buy it and leave it docked the whole time, but something tells me what you’re really asking for is a cheaper model that is TV only. I kinda doubt we’ll see it but hey, Nintendo has done weirder things in the past.

My switch is docked 98% of the time but it’s nice to have it portable for the 2% of the time.

Bold of you to assume that the Sequel to Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will release in 2022. I mean I hope it does, but I’m not confident in Nintendo’s ability to deliver games in a reasonable timeframe.  Especially Zelda games.

The crypto currency itself is traceable. But consider the money used to acquire the crypto currency in the first place and how it was done.

You’ve got it right - the transactions are explicitly and permanently public. The idea is that it’s hard to tie a wallet to a person - but there are lots of ways to do that accidentally since every transaction in and out of that wallet is also tracked.

450 hours worth of time is not a small amount to spend playing any game. I’ve been playing games for 30+ years, and I can count the number of games I’ve dedicated that kind of total playtime to on one hand.

Well, we have to concede the Amber Heard one to him.

in all honesty Grimes is probably the only person who would date him now who isn’t doing it for the money (because he doesn’t sound like that great of a date). Because she’s a little whacky and fell in love with his robot/Rococo era references and IMO she was extremely wowed by his perceived intelligence and she

yeah I am with you, I feel like the N64 catalogue has always been super slim and everything worth playing on it that they have a chance of licensing is something I own already anyway

My honest reaction to this news, if it turns out to be true, would be a resounding ‘meh’.  Of all the consoles I’ve previously owned, the N64 catalogue has probably aged the worst.  No shame on the fun I had with it back in the day, but trying to play Conker or Banjo or pretty much anything else from the nascent days

I think that is the marriage you end up in if you feel like you need to get married to keep up with everyone else getting married, to have that dream wedding, to have kids by x age, to stop aunt Mabel from asking about it every Thanksgiving etc. And you end up with some dudebro. Getting married should be about finding

I have always been surprised by the number of people I know who seem to actively dislike their spouse and/or children.”

Every once in a while my wife will come home from hanging out with a married friend and thank me for not being terrible. It’s kind of a joke, but only kind of. I’m out here earning points for not

It's because everything in this article is based on subjective findings.  And as such is quite easy to spin in one direction.  Obviously the spin was only ever going to go one way.

Super Game Boy support would be amazing. I had a friend that had DK 94 and would borrow it all the time. It is a fantastic game.

And then there are the publishers that just decide they don’t want their games on the service, and refuse to sell us said games. A truly bizarre practice. Like, there’s no means of playing games like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 1–6 on the Switch.

I’d say there’s next to zero chance that any of the mainline Pokemon games will be on the service.

There are quite a few differences. There are pros and cons to each. The Pi is much cheaper, so if all you want to do is play games and you don’t care that much about the quality of the experience, then it’s more than good enough. The Pi will also have more emulators which have save states (save game at every time),

For most people playing most games? Absolutely nothing.

While this definitely seems cool, I wonder how much of a difference there really is with a Raspberry Pi retro gaming setup, in terms of performance. I ended up building one of those years ago after reading a walkthrough either here on Kotaku or Lifehacker, and it generally works great.

Have you ever heard of the “Tetris effect”? It refers to playing Tetris so much that you start to have after images, or things look like they are moving down steadily like Tetris pieces when they are not. My friends and I all played the first Tenchu Stealth Assassins so much that we started experiencing the Tetris
