This is such a good looking truck.

Thats because they didnt really try. Its a minor refresh if that. Something tells me though the important stuff is under the skin and on the interior. Like a new diesel with like 1800 ft/lbs of torque since the dick measuring by the Big 3 seems to keep going on.

Not since I’ve been alive

Remember when grills were for cooling the engine instead of signalling manhood?

I have a 2011 JKU manual transmission, absolutely base model. The only option I have is the max trailer tow with limited slip rear diff. Wife doesn’t drive it all. I think that is just perfect, as the Jeep is my baby and wife is rather rough on cars.

With the volume of Jeeps they sell that never are put into 4wheel drive, I agree with you. Sad, but true.

Literally 99% of the Wegmans offroading people won’t care.

I appreciate the response, and I had heard of the defeat, but wanted it to be permenantly defeated. My guess/hope is that it will be listed as a “feature” on higher level trims or engines as some other manufacturers have done and there may be some intermediate trim level with no keyless start or auto stop/start

My next car can’t arrived soon enough. I am looking at the 4 Door Unlimited Base model with a six speed manual although I might also consider the Automatic simply because if I buy a manual my future wife might try to force me to sell it because she can’t drive stick

That’s because they’re bringing back the Viper V10 for the Wrangler...

Photos have been released of the JL interior showing a button on the dashboard to disable the Start/Stop feature. More than likely you will have to push it every time you start the car to disable the feature.

I’ll buy whichever one I can permanently disable the start-stop technology which is rumored to be standard.

I’m confused, I don’t see a Hemi on this list.

Just a reminder that Jeep offers 2 engines in the JK, a 2.8 Turbo diesel and a 3.6 pentastar.

The Hellcat is suspiciously missing from this list. Are you sure there is not a seventh option?

I mostly agree, only thought is some are likely only going to be for foreign markets so we may get 2-3, likely will see the 4cyl and/or the diesel in addition to bump EPA fleet ratings.

Yeah, and even if they go as high as three, I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t offer all three on all body styles (aka maybe no 4 banger on the unlimited or the truck etc)

I’m with you here. I imagine one of the two V6s, one of the diesels, and one of the four cylinders. 6 is just ridiculous.

Why not the VM Motori 2.8L 4cyl like what is already in use in the JK everywhere else but here?
