yeah, you're right. It's Reddit now, before was Digg/9gag, then 4chan/livejournal before that, then Gamefaqs/SA before that. You still get the occasional "4chan is evil" story, but for the most part the media has moved past the "old and crustry " medias. Reddit's is just the new thing to love/hate on.

but then more heated arguments just degenerate to "LOL you have an anime avatar, your comment is invalid" , like on YT and Twitter. At least Disqus got the nesting right.
