When a film’s ending is too real it can lose me. I’m glad they chose the ironic ending over the downer. I’m still wishing someone would fix the ending of The Mist, though, to be fair, I did NOT see that coming.

Yup, this is my take. I think if Get Out ends with Chris in prison, it would’ve made the film a classic, but it would’ve been such a downer I don’t know if the movie reaches the same pop culture significance. I don’t think we’d be able to watch it. And in a weird way, the movie ending that way would’ve gotten it…
