I'd Yen that guy for a doll hair!

Guys guys guys, Donnie Fucking Yen!

It's a shame too because unlike Back to the Shack, Thank God For Girls doesn't work any better within the context of the album. It absolutely sticks out and lessens the entire California, Beach Boys vibe they were trying to achieve. There are some soaring heights on White, but nothing on EWBAITE was as boring as Girl,

Interesting? More like heartbreaking. The demo is a shattering depiction of addiction and vulnerability where as the album version is a sterile, embarrassing attempt at a club banger.

I really love a lot of Maladroit even though its dumbed down cock rock and EWBAITE is fantastic (even Shack rocks in the context of the album). White is really growing on me though, I think there's just more depth in their last album.

Weezer 2000-2010 playlists?

Yes it's a top 5 song…if you discount Blue, Pinkerton, Green, Maladroit, half of Red, EWBAITE, and White

To be fair, Heart Songs sucked almost as bad as the other guys songs. Just not in the same "wtf is uncle kraker doing taking over the last half of a Weezer album?" way

Greatest is just crazy enough to work. Other than that, Dreamin is okay, Angel and the One is a brilliant closer, and Pig/Miss Sweeney should have replaced basically any other two songs besides the ones listed

No way is Maladroit worse than Raditude

I'm a perpetual 2000's Weezer playlist creator. There's at least 2 albums of solid material between Green and Hurley. What's your Green/Maladroit comp look like?

Me too. But ultimately, it was badazz

Fight

The last record is solid all the way through, and basically Make Believe and Hurley are inexcusable garbage. Maybe add Time Flies or Perfect Situation if you have to.

I totally agree! I think it gets overlooked a lot in discussions of his best fights, but it's so intricate and fun.

PS2 has that awesome playground fight

I have The Killer on CC Laserdisc. :)

Funny, I saw Police Story as Jackie Chan's Police Force in the mid-90's.
