Um - in park (in an automatic) the only holding force is a small hook gear that locks the transmission into place when park is selected (mind it’s a very very strong gear - but it is just a single tooth that holds it).

Free as in beer - not as in speech. The difference is someone can give you a beer - but you can’t do anything with it but drink it. Speech is free as in you can take it - make it your own - do what you want with it.

I have both - one big point for the vita - it is not region locked, and if you like niche Japanese games (especially JRPG’s) there are a ton of options for the vita. The price of memory cards is outrageous.

Nook App store - for apps only - note you still get your books and newstand stuff. The only stuff I ever bought on my nook.

Well it’s Diablo - pretty easy for a puppet to play just download one of (many) bots - heck if he started at the start of the season he could be ranked by now. Unless you really think those ranked players honestly have been playing 24/7 for weeks now and following the ToS...

This is why they brought the plan back - people can’t understand the math, and think they are getting a deal on the plan because they upfront 200 of the phone cost.

And of course it’s an LS - because the damn thing fits in everything.

If they’d just ditch the region locking you’d be able to access games from Asia that already have English translations....

Free market - it’s cheaper.

You can put a 32 or 64 gig SD card on the ‘older’ 3ds - it works just fine - if you have an SD card reader on a computer you can copy the contents off the one that’s currently in it to a computer - then copy them to the new one and plug it in and go - all the files will move over without any special gimmick.

Sure - I get that, I just don’t accept on it’s face that piracy helps or hurts sales (of whatever). The idea that piracy is a lost sale is easy to make and sounds so rational that it has bought all kinds of laws and shenanigans to ‘combat’ piracy.

I can link one if you’d like - but it’s just as easy to claim it’s not accurate - that’s why I’m curious - there are always people on both sides claiming that piracy hurts/helps sales and now that we have something that has made a dent in the piracy bucket it’d be interesting to see just how much it does affect things.

On the crying baby - have a small supply of lollipops and sugar free lollipops - offer them to the parents. It’s amazing how quiet a kid becomes when sucking on a lolli. If the parent won’t accept - be gracious - but they are just as miserable as you are.

So... a bit offtopic but what are the odds we can get you guys to do a preview/writeup on firewatch... this game looks rather awesome and I’d love to know more!

I picked up a similar looking unit for 60 bucks at my local B&M. A week worth of liquid is around 11 bucks - now cigarette free for over a month. Yes I don’t believe it’s 100% safer - but it’s way better than all the crap in cigs - and I no longer have a morning cough...

Thanks - never having played it I was really unsure what they were showing.
