Free market - it’s cheaper.

You can put a 32 or 64 gig SD card on the ‘older’ 3ds - it works just fine - if you have an SD card reader on a computer you can copy the contents off the one that’s currently in it to a computer - then copy them to the new one and plug it in and go - all the files will move over without any special gimmick.

Sure - I get that, I just don’t accept on it’s face that piracy helps or hurts sales (of whatever). The idea that piracy is a lost sale is easy to make and sounds so rational that it has bought all kinds of laws and shenanigans to ‘combat’ piracy.

I can link one if you’d like - but it’s just as easy to claim it’s not accurate - that’s why I’m curious - there are always people on both sides claiming that piracy hurts/helps sales and now that we have something that has made a dent in the piracy bucket it’d be interesting to see just how much it does affect things.

On the crying baby - have a small supply of lollipops and sugar free lollipops - offer them to the parents. It’s amazing how quiet a kid becomes when sucking on a lolli. If the parent won’t accept - be gracious - but they are just as miserable as you are.

So... a bit offtopic but what are the odds we can get you guys to do a preview/writeup on firewatch... this game looks rather awesome and I’d love to know more!

I picked up a similar looking unit for 60 bucks at my local B&M. A week worth of liquid is around 11 bucks - now cigarette free for over a month. Yes I don’t believe it’s 100% safer - but it’s way better than all the crap in cigs - and I no longer have a morning cough...

Oh god the # of games I own for this and can’t play - and I though the 3ds had a backlog (just 4 atm) - the only downside to this system is ridiculous memory card prices.

Well as fun as that is - the real game of diablo is no longer the leveling - if it’s your first time enjoy it - after that you can level a character to 70 within 15 mins if you are being power leveled - and begin the real game which is pushing paragon points, gear, and speed towards higher and higher level bad guys :)

I was a fan of Sierra more than lucas... Police Quest.... Hero Quest... two of the best :)

You do what anyone should do when someone gives you a gift you don’t like. Accept it graciously and appreciate the thought and effort that went into getting the gift.

From a policy standpoint I agree with you - from a consumer standpoint inflation has not been flatlined - it really isn’t the fault of the average american if the price of all the things needed to survive continues to rise and at the same time isn’t tracked. It’s rather frustrating really.

It wasn’t just ‘his ride’ though. He got into a ride with a bunch of friends and they kept going after he got out. It was like a 40 min drive with the surge price included. I agree it was a ridiculous amount of money, however you have ample opportunity to opt out and wait for a taxi (for hours) rather than pay.
