Rightsholders right now dictate terms that are illegal. (no not most of them - that’s not my argument) - time shifting and format shifting are legal based on copywright law - over the air broadcasts are legal to record for your own use and watch later. While some of these questions are still being worked out (push

What is this DLC thing you speak of? Gamer from 1985 - so many boxes from the old PC days when they were all odd shaped I collected them (an entire closet in my house worth) and last time I tallied it up - over 2000 games bought and played (NES, Dreamcast, Playstation, PS2, PC, C64, Atari, SNES, Wii, Wii-U,

Wow talk about making a comment without knowing anything about what’s going on.

That I can get behind - confidence is important. I do see *way* too many people act like they are just buying a product though.

Wow I don’t get this at all - I have backed several kickstarters (biggest was around 200 bucks) - guess what - I READ THE TERMS OF SERVICE.

We can disagree - there was only one asshole in the relationship until she felt upset about things enough to want to cheat, and isn’t telling him. She can end it - or be blunt and tell him she’s taking other lovers, why, and that she wants to continue to see if things may work out (why I don’t know) but there is no

“How is she an asshole here?” - followed by

I used to shop around for insurance - and when someone hit my car it was a nightmare. Then someone hit my co-workers car and I saw how they were treated. I switched to their agent. At this point in my life - as long as I feel the price is reasonable for the insurance I buy (renters, car, umbrella whee) I honestly

I just have to ask - isn’t it stupid to react to a tweet like this? I mean taking a single tweet seriously as if your life, health, or you know anything in the real world could happen due to it is just being silly. Things said online don’t affect real people’s lives.

You’d be surprised how many parks allow for prospecting - while I don’t know of any that allow actual mining/destruction of the park - if you find it (through sifting or just laying on the ground) much of the time you get to keep it. You do need to check with the regulations and such but it’s nice to know that public

Thanks for that eggsplanation ;)

I thought putting salt onto uncooked egg turns it into rubber (the white parts specifically) - I was once smacked by a chef for taking salt to the egg before it was done cooking...

Guy at the bank said they rely on the uv detection anymore - as the fakes these days were real ones fives etc. that are washed and reprinted with 100’s - which means the paper is legit and the pen test doesn’t work.

A good case is so many things - light - easy to work on - won’t cut your fingers while doing the build... - good looking.

Thanks - at least the comment sparked a bit of discussion about the issue - I've always worried about leaks and the closed loop systems kind of made me think about it seriously (due to the thought that it shouldn't leak).

It's my understanding that the closed loop systems use a liquid that is not conductive so even if it leaks while the power is on - no blow up.

This entire thing shows me how many people have wildly crappy color settings set on their screens.

ROFL the public funded companies (regardless of actual business) have those cumbersome processes because 'teh publik' demands to know what the dollars are spent on and funding depends on them being able to audit that stuff.

"And make no mistake, these are decidedly core gamers. On average, respondents spent 18 hours gaming a week. These are not Kim Kardashian-loving, candy crushing soccer moms. These are, on average, 25 to 34-year-old men with full-time jobs making microtransactions inside premium console and free-to-play mobile

LOL male rape happens - the only (public) victim of rape when I went to high school was a guy - and it was other guys. He was not exactly a pushover either - thinking that the word has no context due to the gender of who you use it against is so wrong, and possibly traumatizing if the person actually has a past -
