“When my dragons are grown, we will take back what was stolen from me and destroy those who wronged me. We will lay waste to armies and burn cities to the ground!”

Post-war framework: The Commonwealth of Independent Kingdoms, to meet every year at the former site of King’s Landing to discuss the shared defence and stability of Westeros. Signatories to the treaty: Queen Sansa, King Gendry and Queen Arya of the Stormlands, King Tyrion, Queen Yara, King Edmure, and King Jon of the C

The final shot of the show will be Cersei holding a baby looking out across the Narrow Sea at sunset.

The most important question: did Jon get Edmure out of his prison on the way down?!

I really did start to worry about Sansa as this episode unfolded. Maybe Bran will protect her by warging into Drogon.

I noticed that even after the bell was rung there were still clumps of armed Lannisters among the first crowd of civilians that Dany started burning. That might have set her off.

This is why I love the Starks! Jon stopped to notice one individual woman in need during a raging battle and prevented his own man from harming her. And even then he gave him a chance to stop before doing what he had to do because he cares that much. And then Arya, trying so hard to save the smallfolk. Even at her

She crucified the nobles of Mereen.

Are we sure the throne still exists?!

Is the twist that Varys spread the word about Dany’s legitimacy to the the four corners of Westeros? That would be an appropriate final move for him.

That really impressed me! I’m glad Cersei had one true friend at the end. There was always the possibility he would abandon her or have the Mountain kill her to save his own skin.

Arya plunging a knife into those murdering Dothraki would have been so satisfying.

I mocked the Cleganebowl hype for years but damn I was actually riveted by that whole thing. And poor Hound going into the fire! Ouch.

He has a sinister air about him I like. I’m looking forward to a satisfying death.

The world ended in the finale!

Sure, Qyburn can raise the dead but ballistas are one step too far, I see.

Though the movie business was so different back then a direct comparison remains impossible.

I was really bummed we never got a season 2 of the Telltale game. I like to imagine how the Foresters are faring now as the show comes to a close. Realistically they probably all died at Winterfell, if not before.

Fascism always has the best outfits.

And Dana Snyder as Dr. Druid!
