Just need to note that Turok’s platforming was some of the biggest bullshit in gaming. In some games you need to perform pixel perfect frame perfect jumps while doing a speedrun. In Turok (at least the sequel) that’s the intended way to cross some gaps.

I see they’re still railing on Xen’s platforming. I always felt that the criticism of the later levels was overblown. Granted, I was coming into it after playing Turok a year earlier, which has plenty of its own FPS platforming, and on a cumbersome N64 controller no less. So in a sense, I already had a warm-up for Xen.

But many times MORE people got the flu. In the US alone, 15,000,000 got flu and 8200 died this season. Corona virus has about 71,000 confirmed cases worldwide and 1770 have died. That’s a 2.5% mortality rate. That would be like 375,000 people dying from the flu in the US alone in a single season.
