Snake is actually drawing more scorn than Olimar, because he does nothing but camp all game and uses his grenades to disrupt any and all attempts to get aggressive vs him. It’s horrible to watch, and a Snake/Snake mirror match is a nightmare to the point that even commentators are noticeably annoyed by it.

Most of the supposed advantages you list don’t really apply to the Epic exclusives. Epic didn’t fund or develop these games, as would be the case for most Sony/Nintendo exclusives. Instead they bought exclusivity rights when they were far in development or even almost finished. Metro even had a Steam listing before…

Steam provides Family Share, Regional prices in the countries own money, regular sales, workshop, mod service, a huge and vast backend for developers so they don’t have to think of anything but to puting the game on their platform and a huge amount of other things EPIC isn’t even close to provide.

Right now, the Epic Game Store has two competitive advantages that it can sell to publishers: An 88/12 cut, and a willingness to throw hyumangeous beeg bags of Fortnite BR cash at publishers for store exclusivity.

It’s more that if Epic were doing this for consumers’ sake, it wouldn’t be dependent on Valve taking a pay cut. Hell, if they thought Valve would actually do it, they wouldn’t have said it in the first place.

If only they cared this much about their own employees.

Essentially admitting that exclusivity deals are due to some pissing match between them and Valve rather than being anywhere near an attempt at being pro-consumer.

Vermentide 2 imo the best one out of Left4Dead bunch atm. 

Evolve was 100% not a successor to L4D. Not even spiritual. Different genre completely.
