I have the movie on DVD, and it includes the original trailer, which explicitly mentions the beard as a giveaway item, so I googled for it. It’s kind of weird, even for a 70s thriller, to make such a big deal out of a promotional item but the film itself is... not great? Like, Hammer didn’t have a ton of cash, so…
