Cranston's Rules

I can understand Ray Charles a bit since his album Modern Sounds In Country and Western is pretty damn influential, but it still feels a bit weird.  I fully relate to the Hank jr/ Tanya Tucker induction, I mean Jesus.  The worst recent example is the Maddox Brothers and Rose.  A supremely popular 1930s band and

The list of inductees is just bizarre. They still haven’t inducted huge stars from the 70s and 80s. Like, Reba didn’t get inducted until 2011.

That’s because The Country Hall of Fame only allows three or four inductees a year and it splits them up by era. So you can only have one Veteran and one Modern performer (modern in the loosest sense of the word because The Judds were modern inductees) and the other one or two spots are allocated to people behind the

They only made the Country Hall of Fame last year if you can believe it.  Damn, I thought she was quite interesting in Ken Burns documentary on Country Music from 3 years back, god a lot of people interviewed in that are now gone.  To quote my favorite country song, I will charm every heart in his crown I will sway.

Man. Sunday mornings. Car Talk, Garrison Keillor, the Traveling Wilburys, and the Judds.  The wallpaper of childhood.  Still a peaceful in the mind.  Rest in peace and thanks for the songs.

SUPPPPPPER Gay.

Sounds pretty gay to me.

This is an odd follow-up to Booksmart

I’d guess in a similar way to how Kmart bought (and subsequently destroyed) Sears.

What a brilliant finale. Loved Sam’s wink at the end. this show was so awesome.

I’m a bit torn on what this means for Snowpiercer.

They’ve already announced and started production on Season 4.

Better yet, ya’ll remember when this site was remotely navigatable? I tried to find a review of an episode of The Office (for some reason I can’t quite remember) and it’s nigh-impossible. You have to go out to Google and do an advanced search to get anywhere on this site that’s older than like... a month after it

As long as AEW is not hurt in any future changes, and get MORE money from them when contracts come up, it’s all gravy.

I gotta say, I can kind of see their strategy here. The last time I actually watched broadcast cable it seemed like every channel basically has one or two shows that they run constantly in giant blocks. It’s possible that instead of canceling the existing shows, they just steer them to HBO Max instead.  Then the broadc

The show was a surprise hit with me. I really enjoyed the subtlety and humor. The entire cast was great and did a fantastic job--the three daughter characters were maddening in their generational and financial privilege and seemed completely real. Diedrich Bader was the best friend I want to have as well. Adlon is a

Got to be one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. I’ve got a lot of affection for everyone involved. Thank you.

I hope they’ll do some one-off specials or something as time goes by.

Nice interview. I know AVC is a mess with all the corporate shenanigans, but it still would have been nice to get a series finale review that also acted as a season review considering the show was dropped from coverage.

I loved that finale so much. I can’t even put my finger on why, I just hit me right in the feels and I sat there and cried well after it was over. Just such a brilliant show; I will miss it tremendously.

I liked the first two seasons of Better Things, but the third and fourth are really tremendous. Adlon’s character being overwhelmed and ambivalent about parenting is valid, but it’s familiar. In the third season (after she changed her writing team), the show became more about her character embracing chaos. It’s a
