My problem is that I can’t use points with Offers, which is usually the BOGO breakfast sandwich, which can be $4 in savings.

I love the Court of Owls idea in theory, but, in practice, aren’t they more of a mastermind villain conspiracy that you bring out after Batman has been active for some time? You don’t want to bring them out right away (reminders of how BBC’s Sherlock handled that one); this is a mystery that you want to subtly let

If they’re going to build a franchise out of The Batman, then Court of Owls could certainly be growing theme in the background for the next couple movies but I’d love to see the Clock King realized as the central villain within the next sequel or so. He doesn’t have to actually control time but have such an acute

For what it is worth, Reeves actually specifically said that they didn’t do the Joker cameo to set him up as the next villain, but rather because they considered that it is important to have the reminder of that presence. To acknowledge that whatever Batman achieves, his true nemesis waits in the wings. Which is why I

I was excited to see their names pop up, too... I feel like there are plenty of filmmakers who might have balked at an extensive fight scene with an invisible jackal (even though it’s revealed at the end), in that it might come off seeming cheap or ineffective.

It often used to be a thing in tv shows where the pilot would be lush, expensive, and well produced, while the second episode would just clumsily restate the pilot for anyone who missed it. But with the structuring of show production nowadays, and the greater focus on long-form arcs, I don’t think it’s the case any

I really liked Harrow playing the genial host (“no crime here/the food is free”) to then have literally everybody wordlessly stand up when he gives an unspoken order.

Look deeper.

The “Repatriation” part of GRC requires that it be post-Endgame, as pre-Endgame, there’s nobody to repatriate.

The Global Repatriation Council is on a bus advertisement. So it’s post-Infinity War, if not Endgame.

Marc mentions that not being able to take over Steven at will is a recent development. Which is why he doesn’t want to risk giving control back to Steven once he regained it in this episode. So their’s some explanation coming for that I assume.

I was shocked to see Benson and Moorhead were the directors when the credits popped up. I love their stuff and had no idea they were getting Marvel Studios work. That explains the great camera and lighting choices. They’re also great at making even the most mundane thing to feel “off” so there’s always an undercurrent

I hated Sentry and it really sucked when Bendis dragged him into his New Avengers run. Marvel has more than enough Superman clones without the need for a ‘lost from Stan’s memories/plot twist no he wasn’t’ character.

“Off the top of my head there’s Jimmy John’s, Jersey Mike’s, Firehouse Subs, Potbelly”

  • Much better. Had a lot of fun this episode. Series not as dark as I thought.

You mean Sentry whom had DID too?

That invisible Jackal fight was just magnificent. It was fun in a really creative way while managing to also tell a lot about the main character, so excellent job all around. In addition, I was really impressed with a lot of the camera work here as there were some really spectacular shots throughout the episode.

Yep, I waited tables at TGI Fridays 19 fricken years ago and even then it was literally a couple clicks on the screen and voila the table was split.

The one time in the last year that my friends and I tried to sort it out amongst ourselves, I got shorted considerably because they shifted digital money around the table before we were done figuring everything out and it was a total disaster, they even screwed up the tip situation due to the confusion. When we have a

Right? I’ve only heard about this from a few servers, but they’ve explicitly said how the systems they’ve used made it really easy to spilt bills - like, it’s still Annoying, but not the worst
