And of course, there was the sidekick "lounge" at the Comet Club in "The Tick vs. the Tick".

From writer Peter David, who's gone from making "Trek" fanzines to writing for this and at least one other space franchise: "You guys are damned lucky."

After those rouge Knights Templar trespassed, the Aztecs were NOT going to let anyone just waltz off with their Golden Shears of Axteh…. Axetete…. their golden scissors. So when the boulders began falling, he grabbed the shears and started running…

…which does have the letters "iger" mixed up in there, so there may be hope.

Did anyone else notice how his face changed by the second term?

Visions of morning news show hots being accosted by a riled, overprotective "Violence Pig" dance in my head. Comedy gold, folks.

What did the bear do to deserve that?

Personally Obsessive Nitpick: that "no such thing as bad publicity" adage? Dumbest one ever.

You can blame his former label Scotti Brothers for the higher-than-average compilation count, i.e. for wanting a "new" "Weird Al" album to earn for that fiscal quarter or whatever, despite the fact that a fully new "Weird Al" album wouldn't be ready by then. (EDITED last 10 to 15 words, which I think works better.)

Not bad. "Greatest Hits" was from '88, "Food" was '93 and "Essential" was '09, but that's pretty much it outside of some rarities.

Okay, that sounds to me like someone who got into the medicine cabinet and/or that wacky neighbor's greenhouse or/and is trying to get out of any further interviews and/or her contract with Bay.

Who would want to be miraculous (and thus subject to the appropriate pressure) all the time?

Trust me, the '80s lobbied pretty damn hard to take that title. Besides, if a decade is so much about "me", so massively hive-mindedly self-centered, that decade probably won't care that the other decade had it first.

I too (or maybe just me) was thinking that "can’t seem to catch a break" was code for "can't seem to think things out a bit before speaking or acting, preferably tactfully". At least he cancelled the (partial) cause of the mess o' people he observed, so * maybe* that's something.

Once again I see that my suggestion/warning of the Big Red Chicken being the local crime boss is ignored. C'mon, people! He's the Kingpin with feathers!!

"This is not a clone, not an imposter, not mind control, not someone else
acting through Steve. This really is Steve Rogers, Captain America
himself." Until of course they change that.

As of Thursday, 5/12/2016, 5:15pm: "The weather-manipulating mutant was portrayed by Halle Berry in five previous X-Men films…."

Opinion: The total number of hours being in the double digits, thus taking up well over a third of a day qualifies it as a marathon, though barely.

Dammit, how long do I have to wait until somebody does "PHRASING" right after "nails it"?

Some people (yeah, well, me at least) are likelt STILL waiting for an update about this over at http://www.avclub.com/artic… , where the whole "NOT RETURNING" banner over Ms. McCarthy's picture a touch moot.
And like I wrote over there before cutting-and-pasting to here, "Moot" is sort of a nice way of saying "wrong
