Despite the apparent absence of long-Long-time drummer John "Bermuda" Schwartz, it is nice to see Al and Company all pitch perfect and refreshed from not playing/enduring any Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremonies or related gigs. (Hint, Hint, #@&%!ng HINT, Cleveland.)

The "Heroes Return" run from written by Kurt Busiek (with help from Roger Stern), and usually penciled by Sean Chen, starting in late '97. A bit erratic (Busiek had some physical health issues that could have affected his concentration), but mostly good stuff.

Once he gets over his frustration over trying to find something that rhymes with "my dad won consecutive Oscars", he'll come around.

"Time Warner responded, 'Yeah, good luck with that.'"

"There’s probably an opening in Voltage Pictures’ marketing department, is what we’re saying." I'd like to add to that if you even publicly use one or more of the words or related images of "giant", "reptile", and/or "lizard" along with some vaguely Japanese imagery, Toho Studios will sue your ass into the ground.

[crossing fingers] "Why yes Rupert, 8 years is enough for everybody to forget AND the internet to purge itself." [/crossing fingers]

Nitpick: why is it when I try to share a link to this non Facebook, the only image(s) I can use with it are enlarged portions of the blue "Share on…" icons? Seriously. (I know it may be a tech issue, but nothing like bringing it up in public to possibly get something done. Did that with Science Channel once…)

Wow. I'm impressed that he got all that typed out without spilling his drink and/or two different types of cigarette ashes. But then I guess it helps to ignore things like Black Widow defeating a room full of male adversaries in at least two different movies (among other feats that would leave normal arrogant males

((sigh)) Stretching out that whole "yearbook photo" gag to… hold on. ((counts again)) Geez, technically that's eleven paragraphs. Remember kids, when they say "timing is the secret to comedy", that includes how long the "joke" goes. (I just wanted a "who's who" update, myself.)

^ Disagree on BOTH parts of that sentence. (And that's the nicest way I can put it.)

Not that I like poking a hole or three in a good "Seasme Street" parody or a rave review of same, but I'm pretty much bored if not fed up by the whole narrow minded "Hawkeye is useless" mantra. It was used to end a particularly self congratulatory but not very well argued article on Cracked.com (http://www.cracked.com

"Satirist", you say? Stan Freberg, yes. Adam Sandler, well…

Ooh, OOOOOHHHHH! I get it now! Instead of not knowing the difference between trailers and actual movie releases, he's just doing some kind of loud so-called spoof… yeah, it's worn down and out, just from the attitude alone before most got the…. uh…. joke. Yeah, I think that's what it's called.

Also of note, the scheduling: it was for (at least) a time airing on Thursday nights about the same time that Fox moved it's new hit "The Simpsons" against NBC's old guard "The Cosby Show". Can you say "crossfire"?

((checks again for "Weird Al" Yankovic's name))
(((sheds a long, lonesome tear)))

Now that I' m done commenting on one rumor, what could some art critics possibly have against the likeness of one of the most influential comedi… AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there any proof to the whole "wife beater" claim? I spent 30+ minutes searching and I could NOT find anything other than some guy at Yahoo Answers saying he read something about it somewhere. Nothing about Desi Arnaz hitting her (there's a lot of agreement that he was a drunk and a womanizer, but I can't find

Newton: "Drop it, punk!"

Turns out Mr. Daniels was also in the ill-conceived series "The Nancy Walker Show", which somehow made it to 13 episodes. One of its writers (& current fave blogger of mine) Mark Evanier talks about how it was better not to be brought up (even though Mr. Daniels managed to survive it) at http://www.newsfromme.com/2…

Are we still re…. Sorry. I meant, Are YOU still reading Deadline?
