Man to the dude who was 40 hours in and still hadn’t crossed the bridge: why and how?? He’s not even limiting himself to the starting area. He’s in the starting area’s starting area. Jesus.

In theory, that’s how it will eventually work (or at least something close to that).
People: I won’t get VR until people start making games for it.
I mean, they’re in the business of selling VR stuff now. Trying to make a flagship title for their tech just makes sense. They’re not just developers, they’re a platform owner, and this is as reasonable as console launch titles.
Doesn’t matter, I’m already drinking mountain dew out of a coworker’s skull and telling people huddled around a burning fax machine about the “before time”. Before Valve came back we had planes and talking phones, before the sky was blue instead of a hazy red.
ITS THE END TIMES!!!
For those interested, after Namche you hike up to the Everest View hotel which is where you get your first look at Everest. Before then it is hidden behind other mountains along the Trek.
What’s crazy is this was from just last year and here they’re complaining that actors like Wahlberg are ‘too old.’ This is PERFECT. They could literally just grab those actors and make the rest of this story and make a fortune. But they won’t.
“You think you want it, but you don’t.”
I don’t believe people want to recapture the fun of playing 1.0 WoW, but rather they’re attempting to recapture that moment in their life where they were playing 1.0 WoW. 15 years ago we were all in very different places in our lives with less cares in the world, less stress in…
I think I’m that chucklefuck.
Communities choose their rules. If everyone *actually speedrunning* the game agrees that this is acceptable in Any%, then it is. There’s not much to it than that.
Shuttered? I think you mean they’ll be given an opportunity to work on New IP, just like how Guerilla games got a chance to work on Horizon after Killzone; how Naughty Dog got a chance to work on The Last of Us alongside Uncharted; how SuckerPunch got to work on Ghosts of Tsushima after Infamous. Or reboot their old…
Why not post the link to the livestream?
So conflicted.
It’s been an honor to work with Kirk for the past seven years. Kirk’s love of games and his desire to communicate about them with readers shines through his work. I’ve valued that a lot, but I’ve valued just as much, if not more, his love of writing good sentences and paragraphs. Anyone can write about video games,…
You’re definitely prodding at something that makes Hitman great with this piece. The only requirement to win at the game is that the targets have to be dead before you can evacuate. Everything else is between you and the hundreds of indendently-operating NPCs in a big sandbox. It can be pure stealth, scooby doo…
I just dabbled a bit in Hitman (actually played the exact mission where Luke’s GIF is above, which is not Hitman 2) and am with you 100%. Where that GIF is I was very much in disguise and very careful to toss that target over the railing and into the river - I guess it’s kind of an OCD for immersive roleplaying-type…
I actually love to combine the two. I first run around the level on my own, discover all I can, get my cover blown a bunch of times, try on every costume I come across, run across a bunch of story missions without following them, leave a bunch of unconcious bodies lying around, and finally kill the targets whichever…
When I only had the prologue and Paris, I definitely replayed Paris a bunch of times and got a really good feel for it. But, didn’t get the rest of Hitman 2016 til I got the Legacy Pack for Hitman 2, and I actually am just gonna do every level once to completion all through Hitman 2 to fully “complete” the campaign,…
Nowhere, obviously. What's your point?
