you need to watch the guide there are hidden check points every 5 feet, you're missing them. It's wierd trying to play a sandbox game with no direction, if you go the wrong way you will just die becuase you aren't high enough level.

One last thing! go watch a guide, don't be ashamed. It might make the game way to easy but it's worth it if you want to have fun instead of a headache playing darksouls. So many weapons and rmor you can grab within 20 minutes that will put you in a strenght level to kill the 1st 2 major bosses in under 45 minutes.

dark souls isn't hard, I can clear it in 8 hours and I suck. No trolling it's not a hard game. People can beat the game in under an hour .

dark souls has amazing art direction with a very real lack of nonsense titling madness that is demon souls. Also the game is far more forgiving.

One thing impotant to understand is

A. every weapon has a different move set. Including replacemnts for kick and extra moves only some weapons get like an attack quick retreat.

Some weapons shoot out beams for the heavy attack while others do massive AOE damage.

Yet others have terrible attacks that will just get you…
