I actually loved the soundtrack. Kind of reminded me of the same feeling It Follows was trying to convey with it.

Overall a good summary despite the headline does not fit. The series has a lot of substance, it’s just that yes, a lot of it is a bit like a melange of things from the past, but very well done and brought together to form something own unique feeling and great, so i quite liked it.

The soundtrack actually didn’t do much for me.

The thing to keep in mind about Bran’s time travelling is that it is (apparently) fully deterministic: Hodor had his seizure years “before” Bran was born, and the scenario leading to his seizure takes his impaired self into account.

I think its hilarious when “book readers” get upset about the show “ruining things” by adding parts to the books that are literally in the books if you’d actually read them and remembered them.
