Some thoughts from the guy perspective

It was such a complete cartoon of a movie, and yet it worked so absolutely perfectly. I'm trying to think of another movie that had a shootout during a freefall, and I'm just not coming up with it.

Part of me is looking forward to Heroic Legend of Arslan. Part of me is afraid they won't finish it like the first time.

So, some future descendant of Link becomes Sephiroth?

Sure, he was a complete and utter bastard. But he was our bastard. He was a bloodthirsty hellion who understood damn-all about anything not relating to warfare. But while you can hate his guts for being a raging asshole, you cannot deny that he achieved the desired outcome against people who were at least as

Well played. Damn near choked to death reading that while eating lunch.

Adventurers as selection pressure.

The Bard's Tale III was the first game that ever made me upgrade a computer to enjoy it. Never did get to the end of it. I was running around the opening dungeons, beating things up, wondering why I could never get past a certain point in the ruins of Skara Brae.

I suddenly feel very old.

Funny story:

Certainly the first place my mind went.

It cannot be Australia. Nothing in the Tower can harm you. If it was Australia, the grass would cut your throat, the trees would drop leaves that would cleave your skull open and the soccer ball would hit like an artilllery shell.

Started Hoard of The Dragon Queen couple weeks back. It was interesting, what with near-party wipes and the barbarian of the party burning down a temple of Chauntea. Strangely, the same player is running the adventure from the Starter Set, and the party is a well-oiled murder machine. Both are fun. Worth playing.

Princes of The Apocalypse sounds like something different, but likely containing some "elemental evil" within it.

So, there will be related materials for the tabletop game, but not a reworking for 5E. Pisser. I'd like to see an update. 5E has been proving to be an utter blast.

I think they need to rename this thing to Tales of Doujinshi.

I have this weird image of the whole thing getting turned into a movie and Sam Rockwell getting cast as Kurt Busch.

Or, if you're looking for the fast and dirty kill, Reaver Vandals appear at Skywatch and Rocketyard, and when there gets to be the big gnarly battle royales between Hive and Fallen, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting one.

Yeah, they did seem kinda...lemming-esque. The whole thing felt off from a pacing perspective. The other players didn't move like they would in a regular match. I know it was clips cherry picked and stitched together but even those short clips seemed like the other players weren't really trying.

We'll find out tomorrow how much more awesome he can get.
