Wonder what he was thinking ! Most sellers of E60 M5 seem more than a little eager to offload that thing. Oh you should do the cayman or the boxster someday. From what I have seen in the reports, the late model cars have best reliability ratings of the Germans and even betting some Japs !
btw Just a quick tip ! do you

The 325i has the vanos issues too but it takes about half the time for a DIY as the M3 (which by itself took me 80$ and 9 hours) and needs more care with the timing chains being touched upon

Although it is usually the best case to skip the auto box for the manual in most BMW's, from what I hear the SMG in the E60 was the only gearbox the car was designed to work well. Most people feel that the 6 speed is like an afterthought for the NA market with relatively poor performance.
ps: Love reading your

Umm maybe the charge *leaks* and you would only get half the advertised range !

Sure they do ! Do you think the next corvette and the GT-R are going to be non-hybrid ? 918 is supposed to represent advances for the future and so it goes faster and yet being cleaner than both the GTR and the corvette(heck all the above you mention except maybe the Koenig) As for the pagani, noble and Koenigsegg

I agree and that's why I think the blame is on the overly crazy emission and crash norms these days than manufactures for the bloated crazy powered cars. I would love to see a 2000 pound Mclaren f1 sized car with 200 something horsepower. But thats not going to happen with today's regulations unless they go overboard

Please try meeting the emission regulations without those "idiotic" batteries ! Its sad but necessary addition to today's cars

They already make that and its called a Noble ! I wonder if they even make enough to keep the company afloat

Only the Alfa has slowly gained weight to be launched in US to be more like 2450 lbs ! Its 2400 pounds with a carbon fiber tub ! Regulations sure dont help making lighter cars ! I don't see it become any better either

Sure they have been around about the cars which passed with flying color during the time the mclaren f1 was made would be thought to be unsafe with today's regulations ! Ever wondered why all the cars look very similar nowadays ?
Not that I agree with our government in these strict regulations though !

"Clemson of South America"
Damn right under the belt !
*tiger alumini

As someone who moved to the Michigan from South carolina I think you are gonna miss the good driving roads that wasnt too far from atlanta ! Good luck with the new city though

Duh ! Flintsones style.. Brembo shoes ;)

This ! ^^^ I think makes a lot of sense for both the parties if they do agree for a partnership

This is what is going to happen looking at their pace in the season so far and the practice at la sarthe

If you ask someone with a two-pedal tiptronic whatever if they have a manual or an automatic, be prepared to cringe when they say "both!" Do you have a clutch? If you don't, you're car is equipped with an automatic gearbox. Get over it, and stop lying to yourself and your loved ones.

I would guess you dont know how they get all the metal and tires these days even for a non-hybrid car ? Hint: Pretty similar to what you posted above

If I remember correctly one of the reasons they stopped from using the Zonda's NA V12 for the Huayra was because AMG wasn't going to produce them anymore. How are still getting these NA V12 for these Zonda specials. Not that I would want them to stop though but I guess there is probably a limit to how many more final

Fun fact ! Even the Atom's Hartely V8 is infact at a base level 2 Hayabusa motors joined together. It has been developed quite a bit over the original design in the Radical SR8 though.

Mclaren uses a 3.8 V8 TT in their road cars as well. It would be the joint smallest if you discount the 3.0 V8 in the Ariel Atom
