Could have taken away Amy Adams’ nomination (since she isn’t going to win) and given it to Viola (who had one of the better acclaimed performances of the year) and made the best actress race a little more…

I may have not seen the same movie as everyone else but people actually think Deadpool is award material? Really? Fanboy-isms aside, you are telling me that there is a group of people that it should be in the running for an award?

The echo chamber of nerds convinced themselves it’s a legitimately great movie, and not merely a good one based on a beloved comic character. Oh and it made a bunch of money so that means it’s good too, or something.

I’m not trying to troll here, really, but I need to ask the question:

Why did everyone think Deadpool was going to get nominated for anything?

It’s a comic book movie. They never get nominated for anything other than technical awards.
