It’s a short, but EXCELLENT experience. Can’t wait for more. The gameplay is a solid B+, the story is an A, visuals are an A+, and the music is absolutely AAA+.

Not sure about this game or otherwise, but if a game is an Epic store exclusive, that means next to nothing for me. If I wanna play a game, I’ll download whatever shitty client the game is on. We already have 350 clients, one more isn’t all the sudden going to ruin my day.

As someone who has poured over 200 hours into this game already, and knowing the bosses CAN be beaten with daggers, it has to be said that it’s a poor choice due to how easy it is to be hit with contact damage, and the pitiful range of the daggers. Truthfully, the entire game was poorly designed in terms of dagger

The storyline continues.

The nerfs to Abigail hit Itazan really hard. Pure grapplers just aren’t in a good, competitive spot right now.

Hard Corps, the best Contra is in, all is well.

Exactly. No replacing assets with some ugly fanmade nonsense that looks outta place. This is as the original design intended, with the resolution and fidelity that doesn’t look blurry or pixellated on today’s displays.

A good mod, that doesn’t ruin the original design with some ugly, out of place re-textures. It looks like the game was intended, with smart ai upscaling.

People make fun of Nvidia Deep learning super sampling, but it’s the kind of tech that achieves results similar to this, and will only get better.

Coincidentally, I was just going through Cowboy Bebop again...

This is the only game I backed, and spent many hours in the two publicly released demos. That being said, there is a little disappointment with the 2.5D design. It’s just too jank compared to having stuck with some high quality 2D. I mean, at the very least, they could’ve done 3d backgrounds in 2.5D but with high quali

Which is also another’s hoarding problem. Hoarders also think all their garbage is worth keeping too.

This. Having gone all digital, you realize how much junk and clutter you are no longer having to deal with.

I stopped buying collector’s editions of games long ago. I used to be huge on the Working Design’s stuff for Lunar, and all their other great jrpgs. Then I found that everything would just be put away collecting dust, not value. In the past decade, I also found that buying physical games also just ended up with me

All of this is actually pretty damn heartbreaking, to be honest. You have a bunch of people who want to make a magical game that will be forever remembered. Now it will be remembered, for all the wrong reasons.

I love video games, but there’s no way I want to be in the position to make one. The stress looks absolutely
