A cheaper Yen maybe be bad for American Manufacturers, but its better for the American consumer, who can purchase cheaply made Asian products while driving manufacturers out of business, which in turn limits the American consumers job prospects, that in the end is actually very bad for the American consumer.

Chinese buyers get a Chinese car because of the price and to support the home market, but then find that the cars don't feel as well built as competitors in the market, like cars from German automakers that are more expensive but feel sturdier.
