To quote one of my favorite lines from The Good Place:

The rule is that you can’t show the actual act of smoking weed. You can show characters with a  lit joint in their hand, with smoke all around, and have them TALK about smoking weed; you just can’t show them putting the joint to their lips.

I’m a lot more positive on this episode and on Nora (her being a huge Flash fangirl really makes a big difference from Wally’s arc, in my opinion), but I can never thank you enough for giving us the name “Slickso”.

Bummer about discontinued Arrow reviews.

Though the fact that Clark’s the one making an extended stay there instead of Kara is still . . . like, why would you bring Kara’s mom and childhood home back to life then do nothing with it?

Can the Arrowverse shows go four-for-four on masked villains stabbing a prisoner at the end of their premieres?

The temperature water freezes and boils at is just as arbitrary. If you want a non-arbitrary measurement of temperature, you have to use Kelvin, where zero is actually ZERO, and you don’t need any negative degrees.

Wow! Excellent analysis, there.

Not nearly enough attention paid to Birdgirl in this article. I know she was only on the show for one season, but her energy and enthusiasm, and her insistence on trying to treat the show as an ACTUAL superhero show, made her do distinct from everyone else and utterly hilarious.

If you look back at some comments from early Season 3, I think you’ll find a lot of agreement on that front. The post-Flashpoint angst just got exhausting.

“Oh my God, if you say that one more time, I’M going to break up with you!”

Chandler is unquestionably homophobic, but his homophobia is at least treated as a flaw that he gets called out on.

Though the early stage of their relationship, where they were hooking up by trying to keep it a secret from everyone, was still the best part. ‘Course, I’d argue that stretch of episodes in early Season 5 is the best stuff the show ever did.

Both drama and comedy are derived from conflict. If two people are trying but failing to make a relationship with each other happen, the conflict comes easily and naturally. But if they’re in a committed relationship, then while they can obviously still have conflicts with each other, you become limited in how far you

Have they specifically said Simone isn’t from New Zealand?

Let me get this straight, you think that your client, one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in the world, is secretly a vigilante, who spends his nights beating criminals to a pulp with his bare hands, and your plan is to blackmail this person? Good luck.”

I’ve always been of the opinion that Batman, himself, is not a very interesting character, which definitely hurt my enjoyment of Batman Begins. The success of The Dark Knight is that it’s really the story of Harvey Dent, with Batman there as a complication he deals with.

Spoiler Warning:

If you told me Geronimo: An American Legend bombed harder, I’d first ask what Geronimo: An American Legend is.

Abbey-solutely!
