Also an adnotation for getting into an accident in the EU. Some countries don’t require you to go to the police if the accident is minor (no injuries or victims) and if the guilty driver recognizes his guilt (make sure that this is the case in the country you’re driving in, in others this might be a penal infraction

My dad bought a Dacia Logan for 5500 euros 8 years ago. After 100k KM he didn’t even change the damn battery. This is where a no frills car is good, when you want it to be reliable without any added cost for owning it. On top of that it has some of the cheapest consumables I’ve ever seen. 40 euros for an oil and

You know what they say: “you can’t choose relatives”. But you can always get rid of them.

“Basically lost my dad’s side of the family over a Honda.” - Nah, you didn’t lose them, you got rid of them. You should be better of without them.

In before 1986 WRC all over again. The fans are idiots and the organizers are just as big of idiots as the fans. The drivers should also be held more in check. It’s just failure on 3 fronts, just like 1986.

It is indeed the Lister Storm. How many other cars could wear that name without being made fun of?

How many of you still remember this?

No more Speed-6? I’m kinda disappointed, but I’m still happy TVR is coming back.

There’s only a 1500 euros difference in price over here between the Mazda and the Superb Combi and for that you get the 1.6 petrol engine for the Skoda and the 2.0 petrol one for the Mazda. Not going to go on the options. Also, one looks like sex and the other one looks like sex with a box. Your pick.

But, but.. would you really want to? Wouldn’t you rather do it in a Mazda 6 Wagon or a Jaguar wagon? How would you tell your children that they were conceived in a Skoda?

I’m pretty sure that the advantage of the FWD wasn’t it’s overall speed, it was the reliability. Also, if it rains this year at LeMans they are going to be in a whole other league, with them having to slow their pace less than the other cars. We’ll see, the first hours will show what the cars can do. I really do hope

GM has been doing that with Opel for sooo many years in Europe. For a few years they had on sale 3 versions of the Astra: the G (named the “Classic”), the H and the normal new version, the J.

I expected HBO to do it, they seem to have cleaned up their act and are actually investing in good programming, like John Oliver’s show, Game of Thrones and True Detective.

My money goes on HBO instead of Netflix.

I am very partial to this one:

“it’s a lost art” ? What the hell? It’s just a chore, not an art.

i think Ethanol has a relative RON of 102, compared to normal petrol 95/98. That is why.

Aren’t they blending it in the gasoline? It’s mandatory in the EU (3% ) and I do know that we were exporting 90% of the production from my home town to Brazil.

Says who?
