What do I want? Well... Halo was a fresh take on the FPS genre. It was the first FPS game done right on a console (barring Goldeneye but that was what, 4 years earlier and didn't have good controls). It's only funded by Activision by way of their "hands-off" programme.

I agree. It looks like Reach 2.0 and Bungie finally got good graphics. But that's what some people want and that's fine. Can't blame anyone for playing what they love but I don't see it as a groundbreaking game at all. At least not yet.
