PC: Divinity: Original Sin

I literally just started playing it yesterday, but it's been great so far. It's been called a modern Baldur's Gate and that's a pretty fair assessment... except I'd add "better" in there somewhere.

Divinity: Original Sin.

It's like No Man's Sky and Transistor's artists had an art baby.

Not a small country, but the promised Land.

I don't understand how a game would look worse at higher FPS. Maybe this is because I'm almost exclusively a PC gamer? Lower FPS almost always seems more sluggish. Maybe it's because I'm used to the higher framerates, but I can't understand how a game would look worse. I think there is a difference between "worse" and

Reminds me of Jason Mantzoukas.

Reach is still my favorite halo. I still consider it the end/beginning to the halo universe. I left the end of it feeling satisfied that the story was over, and I had no regrets about it. I played that last little bit trying to take as many covenant with me as i could.

you moron, the code is being replaced. you still own the game.

Perhaps you should ask Dr. Nerdlove how to stop yourself from reading them.

Seriously - I started Witcher 2 up awhile back to test out the new combat mod and was floored by how many patches i had to download simply because they added so much extra content for free. That was *awesome*. I'll buy them a few shots when you're done getting them a beer! :P

I'll drink to that. PUN INTENDED. B)

You're doing it right.

AMD bitches when they feel like they get behind the curve. (AMD offers great raw performance for the price but their optimization is fucking awful, even in "Made for AMD" games sometimes. And their "technologies" are laughably half-assed and always poorly implemented and followed up on) Nvidia largely gets even. AMD

I think Don't Starve and Rogue Legacy are very good examples, in that your character dies, but they leave behind a bit of progress in the form of unlocks. You have to start over, but your last character's death wasn't all for naught.

Now playing

Hire this guy or someone similar to this weapon animator, and you'll have my attention. Nothing blew immersion for me on STALKER than the crap the devs called weapon animations.

Everytime you die in Alien: Isolation you should have to play Alien: Colonial Marines for an hour instead (it'll feel like a day)

As a staunch supporter of the PC platform, I have to say that the obvious solution to your problems, Kirk, is piracy. I'm not advocating that you steal the games, but what you SHOULD do is buy them, THEN download them from a torrent. You've paid your money for the game, now download a copy of it that's been "cracked"

My brother bought Max Payne 3 on the Steam Sale and he was complaining of something similar. I remember when I bought GTA IV I had to make an account for Games For Windows Live and Rockstar Social Club just to play the game on Steam.
