Care to tell me what parts of this vid were parkour? I must have missed it with all that "Same stuff that's also on UT2k4 and UT3" with the exception of the melee / third person stuff, of course. There was some crazy jumps, but nothing like

Best part? It's not owned by Facebook or Sony. Facebook will either turn it into a datamining goldmine or plaster the whole thing with ads. Sony's tech is unlikely to be made available on anything but a Sony machine. This could actually be something for all gamers.

Totalbiscuit talked about the input lag and all. I have no Idea how you could miss it. And ofc FPS has an effect. You have a reduced input lag, meaning actions are made faster, you see more images meaning you can react faster. How you can't see this as an advantage is redicilous.

I'll go back to my speculations that modern big budget games have been reduced to trailer footage. Why do you think the cap is at 30 fps? Sure, monitors and refresh rates. The instant youtube allows for 60 fps videos, developers will start putting out 60 fps games. Because 60 fps is completely useless in the marketing…
Resolution only needs to be good enough, which changes and evolves with technology. But gameplay experience should be flawless, regardless of platform.
I wish someone would have told these kids that those kind of videos were seen as cheesy in the 90s too.
KotOR2 is one of my favorite games of all time, and I see you mentioned New Vegas in the comments. I was surprised to see no mention of Planescape: Torment here.

Obsidian made the content. Fans just put it back in. 2004 was a weird time. Either way I like vanilla KOTOR 2 better as well. I'm not so hung up on whether an ending sucks.
