Tone-deaf music choices are like half of all game reveal trailers.

Never gonna happen. Social media is built around people sharing drama/controversy, and even a chunk of the people that don’t like this streamer/youtuber’s actions...likely have jumped on another bandwagon to harass someone else if they see a cause that justifies it to them.

Weird music choice, but art gives me a Kameo vibe which is a positive for me.

That message might have some meaning if Epic themselves didn’t personally benefit from getting around the app store revenue share, and then before this ask for a special exemption from it.

First day that is under 100, but it will get to 111 again this weekend...so I’m all for summer ending. Mainly so I can mountain bike in other parts of the day besides the very early morning, because I’m been trying to make it a daily habit, and have lost about 20 pounds over the summer so far.

Still the best game in the series (both story and combat), but also the most technically underwhelming even for the time, and it took until Inquisition for them to discover color.

Fan of Ridley Scott, but the message of both commercials was crap. Both are just overly dramatic fluff pretending to be some rebellious breaking the glass ceiling screen moment, and using that to grift the support of people that ultimately benefits their bottom line than any nobler pursuit.

4k seems weird on a Switch given the power limitations it will have being portable. I’d have to assume they’d do 4k like the PS4 does with checkboard rendering that adjusts pixel resolution on the fly to maintain frame-rate when you’re plugged into a TV. I...can’t see it doing native 4k, and would be a complete waste

This is pretty much why I’ve waited on getting Persona 5 Royal, because it will eventually hit Steam, along with I assume at least Persona 3 FES. Also throw in Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne, and we’re golden.

Classic was doomed to the same weaknesses of the original game, but amplified because people have more knowledge to min-max the experience up to 60.

Most games now (especially AAA titles) are designed to be accessible, so the hardest difficulty is usually needed to get a decent challenge while normal is too often a story cake-walk. Open-world games also tend to have side-content empower your character in ways that can stack things in your favor as well.

All week been over 100 degrees here, but thankfully not that humid.

I mean...you don’t. It’s actually rare a driver update is needed to take away obvious visual glitches for this game. Usually they just offer minor performance improvements on a few new select games, and the majority of other PC games don’t get any noteworthy utility from those updates.

I’m gonna go with a few key ones over the last year:

I mean didn’t Drizzt already show Drow weren’t an evil absolute, it was just the culture, and the underdark in general?

I’ll still take a generic action rpg over how garbage the combat mechanics were in 2-Unity. Brotherhood especially when I can just chain kill an entire group of enemies with no thought or depth whatsoever was bottom-tier game design, along with 3's AI regularly breaking their stealth detection.

Feeling pretty good honestly as things start to open up. Enough businesses are taking safety precautions around me, but most of my worry is not for me, just those that are elderly. If we can keep them safe until a vaccine, the rest of society should be able to work close enough to normal in the meanwhile.

Well...you can’t, so don’t worry about it. No one has the foresight to know exactly what will happen that far in the future, and I’ll be dead before it’s even a potential problem. I just have no faith that reliably slow governments can ever be the solution to make space travel cheap.

It was easily the best demo I played so far out of the Steam game festival thing, with Everspace 2 also being a nice stand-out.
