Is that laziness or is that zone marking though? I mean… we had a bunch of other players there.

SCREAMER EDITORS

Of course there is diving and there is acting. Nobody here is saying otherwise.

He was clever in waiting for the keeper to jump and clock him on the opposite side, like Neymar did yesterday.

Boo, sir. Boo.

Campbell got cute though. But yes. They kicked way better than poor Chile.

Horrible game. Put me to sleep a couple of times. It only got semi-exciting during the last 10 or so minutes of overtime. Navas great though.

I actually think it hasn't been necessary. The last thing we need is a bunch of great players out on yellow cards. A good ref can just deny the foul and keep the ball rolling. The penalty was legitimate anyway so I don't see the conflict.

Ha ha ha. Right? No wonder he has no faithin the sport.

Well it's only considered a flop if there was no actual foul, so I can't imagine that scenario. If you've been fouled you can fall however you might choose. There's no rule on falling a certain way when someone trips you— that would be a funny rule.

I think taking out Gio was the big fuckup. When Herrera subbed him I was screaming "Whyyy??? whyyy??"

There have been no yellow cards for diving the whole world cup, seems to be FIFA policy—why single out Robben. His was was spectacular, yes, but Márquez was dumb and he made contact— should have known better. Mexico fell back too deep anyway, they were asking for it, Piojo Herrera fucked up in the end.

He's clever. Enjoy the game!

As a Latin American who was rooting for Mexico, I have to say— ¡No mames, pendejo! It was a penalty. And there was another one on the first half that the ref missed. Fact.

Go watch hockey then, who gives a fuck.

Congrats. After you skewered Spain I had you as a favorite for being the next champions. Today was a bit too close though!

No. A foul is a foul. Faking a foul can earn you a yellow card though, but refs have been pretty lenient on that end for this tournament.

Your misery is my joy. I'm a Bayern fan, and I think he's great. Watching him in the thrashing of Spain was a delight. Today I was for Mexico, but admit it— Robben was the main player creating chances for Holland.

Really? I thought that Robben's diving fame actually lost him a legitimate penalty at the end of the first half, when he got kicked twice.

Now playing

Next time Suárez should just use his elbows like everyone else, and there'll be no scandal.
