To be fair, CrossFit HQ has recommended a 3 days on, 1 day off approach for a long long time. If you look at the programming they put out on their own on crossfit.com they follow this approach and have for years. In my gym we tell the same to our clients, and don’t recommend new clients come more than 3 days a week
