How does that make sense? How does a game coming out a couple years ago that’s very artificially similar halve their audience? And if you’re saying first person would halve the audience I don’t see how that makes sense either. Most people played Skyrim in first person. I mean some of the highest selling games of all

But being first person makes me completely lose interest in it.

Agreed so much. Third person feels like I’m watching a character; First person feels like I am that character. The former always reminds me I’m playing a game, whereas I can get lost in the latter.

I feel the same, but for me about 70% of why I hate first person games is resolved by the fact that you’ll actually be playing an actual character with personality rather than a blank slate/silent protagonist, which makes me just disconnect with the game. I mean... I don’t play games to be me in the future, I play

When you see someone hiding behind a wall that is in-front of you because the camera looks at them from above - yeah... that’s sorta cheaty :)

Please do not have a 1/3p switch button.

Yeah me too, I used to play Skyrim in third person but then I realized that playing it in first person gave me a much better immersion in the game, and now I can’t go back.

I’m actually the complete opposite - I find that in first person you get a much better immersion and can actually notice all the small details in the environment - Like looking at a graffiti from up close, or even just looking at the rabble on the road - everything can feel so much more personal and immersive.
