WW has not aged well. It was enjoyable at the time as an alternative to the reality of the Bush WH, but when I tried to watch a few episodes on Netflix a while back I couldn’t get past how condescending and superficial its liberal politics were, and how I hadn’t been bothered by that during the original run.
Not a fan of Wolf Blitzer, but he doesn’t give off that kind of vibe.
It’s hard for these PR/crisis management teams to write an “apology” that sounds marginally different from the ones that they’ve just written for their other client pigs. Someone must have thought “this pig’s a chef - we’ll throw in a recipe!”

Shelby saying he wouldn’t vote for Moore may have helped keep white turnout low - the other factor in the win. Shelby was first elected as a Democrat, before switching parties 20+ years ago.

Boric acid is not the same chemical as borax. However, neither one will kill you if you touch it. Pesticide over-use and bee colony depletion are deadly serious concerns, but it doesn’t help the cause to throw out a lot of nonsense and attack people who do know enough to question your assertions.

I try to resist cynicism, but I’m not sure they are any better or worse than the rest of us. It’s just that wealth, power, and the license granted to artists has protected them from the consequences of actions that would have gotten ordinary folk thrown in jail, or at least booted from polite society.
I expect there’s a whole new legal specialty being established in these days of the Great Reckoning.
