Honestly most of the media I can find on Darnold is anointing the guy as the next great NFL QB, which tends to give people that would otherwise be critical a rather gaping blind spot into his flaws. It amazes me that Lamar Jackson can have a so-so game and get slammed by the media/scouts, and yet Sam Darnold has played mediocre all year so far and there is silence about it from those same people. Gee, wonder what could be causing this???

His receivers let him down with drops early. I think the guy is amazing, and will be a good QB at the next level. He makes RG III look like the poor-man’s Lamar Jackson. And RG III was a top pick and Pro Bowler before injury.
