It’s called a remake for a reason and I’m all for it. It seems a lot of people are getting confused between that and remaster. Here’s a video that should shed some light on the difference.

Shenmue’s case is very unique in the sense that it’s a 14 year old franchise. NO ONE WOULD INVEST IN THAT. Even Sony were hesitant until they agreed to let Yu Suzuki fund the rest via Kickstarter.

They stated mutliple times what’s Sony’s role is in this project, you can even check it out on the main Kickstarter page where they show the money breakdown. (Sony isn’t getting a penny of it). I used to be like that until I realized that it doesn’t matter. I’m playing all my PC games using a DualShock 4 and there’s now no reason for me to get MGS V on PS4. At the end of the day Im interested in the game, not the brand.

The fact Sony is selling The Last of Us remastered (a game I already own on PS3) for 50 dollars today is criminal. I bought a new system to play new games and the only thing I’m looking forward to is Uncharted 4 which isn’t coming until next year.

Not really. Think about it: if people continue to buy remastered last gen ports publishers would just take advantage of that. Look at Capcom: rather than making a new DMC were stuck with a remastered game from 2007.

As a PC gamer I have no gripe with the PS4 other than the flood of last gen remastered games we’re getting.

Thank you, Jason. Rather than mentioning how players can actually get a PS4 physical copy and the fact the game managed to reach 4.2 million, we get hate. Pointless nitpicking hate.

It also depends on where you live. In the Middle East games are about 100 bucks a pop and are bought from resellers. Thankfully digital stores like Steam are making things more fair. We also don’t have Netflix instead censored TV shows.

The question is will it be turn based or not? That's the big one.
