What sucked about the BETA wasn't the glitches, it was the game mode they choose. A lot of people I know are not buying Battlefield 3 because they thought COD was better, when they are clearly different games. I think whenever it comes to making anything 9/10 it'll never be what you expected, but that's what I love about projects. It involves creativity from all different people and there will always be room for improvement. I personally loved Bad Company 2 and still playing it up to this day :)
