I just finished re-watching with my Partner, who, just like me, teared up at the Finale.

To note on CASTLE (a perfect example of "ran too damn long"), Katic (and Jones) were fired weeks before the network announced the cancellation.

Root's not going to carry a taser when she can have a gun.

He was holding a shotgun!

Greer hasn't just soured on the Good Fight, he's not interested in leading the Bad Fight. That's the thing that people forget — to re-start what Deborah said, he wants Samaritan to lead, and he's just an acolyte thereof, the lead Apostle if you will.

As pointed out, the "Western Powers" have not stopped Pakistan nor India from building nukes. Nor would bombing alone stop Iran.

Given her next step was to go undercover w/Finch, I doubt that would have worked; he's helped patch up enough of Team Machine at this point to know a fake, even a skin-breaking one.

Plus Shaw rampaged pretty hard, too, during DEVIL'S SHARE (I loved Fusco's "You let them BOTH off the leash?" in the opening bits of the episode).

I thought I heard Fusco tell her she could make Detective, so I assume she's not already one.

I think — If Fusco really thought Shaw dead he'd say and act so, esp. in that scene w/Finch. He's not exactly Mr. Subtle.

Another voice recommending this show — it starts off as a procedural, but very much evolves into a much more complex and nuanced look at a host of issues.

Same here. As someone who HATES most of the post-apocalyptic works out there (I'm an optimist and I dislike 80s aesthetic), this was an episode that didn't even have to work hard to make me cringe.

Cool cool cool.
