That's not the issue here. Here's a concept for Samsung: stop copying Apple and iOS. You don't see Apple having a problem with Nokia and Microsoft's Metro interface for Windows 8 Phone.

By itself, no. Adding up everything, it's damning.

Your analogy is terrible. A better one would be if Toyota changed the Corolla's design to look similar to the Ford Focus. Do you think Ford would have a case then?

They didn't end up copying Sony though.

That's what I was thinking too.

Don't forget: Android phones are graded on a curve!

I kinda think that the iPod Touch is going to be discontinued/replaced with the iPad mini. Who would want a Touch when you can get a mini-tablet at nearly the same price?

Because their phones are generally terrible.

I get where you're trying to go with this, but weather is quickly located in the Notification Center. Just unlock your phone and swipe down from the top.

"After all, it wouldn't be the first time that someone got their hands on an unreleased iPhone model..."

Nah, it happened to me too.

I came for the inevitable dick joke, and I did not leave unsatisfied.

I think the message here was not that the Surface is copying the iPad, but that the presentation style MS used is similar to Apple's two years ago.

I don't know if the "root" argument is necessarily fair. Some people just want that out-of-the-box experience. I'm sure iPhone reviews would be a lot different if they graded on the curve of "oh, just jailbreak it!"

I wish they would atleast compare it to the iPhone in an objective sense. Like - is the retina display better? Is the camera better? Battery life?

And the design is just so… uninspired as well. The HTC phones are better in that aspect.

They should really make brightness, Bluetooth, Wifi, and Airplane mode toggles available in the notification swipe-down.

This has been around since iOS5 I believe. Unless you're talking about something else.

Sensationalist article.

Ah ok Sony and Samsung. I guess I'll just have to pay...
