Amplifying Trump’s messages by sharing them whole cloth is in poor taste. This isn’t hard to understand.

Seriously. Hell, DC should put Jenkins and Gunn over the DCCU as their version of the Russos.

That’s because your throughput is being limited by the number of users on each cell tower. I hope that 5G will improve that issue, but the max speed of LTE is not even close to a limiting factor for you right now - your cheapskate carrier who refuses to build more towers is.

Nope - not how the Internet works. The place you’re downloading FROM has to offer higher upload speeds in order to improve your download speeds. You can’t just jack up your own access and expect the rest of the Internet to magically keep pace. Otherwise, DDOS attacks would be INCREDIBLY easy to pull off. Servers have

I can easily discern the difference between 720p and 1080p on a large television - it’s obvious. I can’t discern the difference between 50mbps and 100mpbs download speeds, because none of the servers I’m connecting to on the web come close to utilizing all that bandwidth. I’m not criticizing - I genuinely want to know

Having different wi-fi networks in the office and how that fucks around with my iPhone.

The human idiots.

Yeah I don’t know why this article seems against it.  A couple years ago I was watching Netflix while it rained and thundered outside, everything seemed normal and fine, then a family texted me - apparently we were under a serious tornado warning at the time but the sirens hadn’t gone off yet.

it’s deeply unsettling to envision a “BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND” alert interrupting an episode of Queer Eye.

I would rather see a solution that broadcast to mobile devices, smart speakers (Sonos, Echo/Alexa devices, Google Home, Apple HomePod, etc.), and smart TV’s. Integrating with the device itself, rather than a specific ‘channel’ on the device seems best.

This sounds like an incredibly smart move in my opinion. A lot of people are moving away from traditional tv to streaming services and as such are more likely to miss out on important alerts. Yeah, it’ll inevitably lead to having to deal with emergency alert testing while watching Netflix, but at least with streaming

This is interesting! Maybe it’s cause I’m detached from the fandom stuff, but I go on tumblr everyday and feel like it hasn’t really changed much.

I love hip hop (although, not today’s bullshit rap), but dislike Drake so much that I won’t even open a playlist or suggestion that he’s part of.

I feel like I should hate this, but...I don’t hate this.

Learning how to drive a stick shift is hard.

Never. Get a friend to teach them.

Or you can sit in your Mom’s car in the driveway shifting through the gears and pretending you’re driving, like I did for many hours when I was a kid.

Denuevo was a big bump for about a year (about 2 years back), but now that its figured out most games with it are cracked fairly quicky. Same story was with StarForce protection when I was in college, it was “uncrackable” for a few years... until it was trivial to crack.

I think it’s important to keep in mind that a pirated copy of a game probably doesn’t represent a lost sale of a game. In some cases it does for sure, but not all... not even most cases.
