You’ve excluded the whole “peer to peer” class of sites like JustBeamIt. You need to leave your browser open, since the file is not uploaded to a server, but you can transfer any file size without registration or installing another program.

I’m not sure you understand how plane seats work. I’m tall and have long legs, the person in front of you reclining has no bearing on your legroom. None.

I’m 6'6, and even without the person in front of me reclining I do not have enough room for my knees to fit between myself and the back of the seat in front of me. I literally have to spread my legs out to the sides of the seat to fit.

Honestly it’s one of the major reasons why I use Firefox for Android instead of Chrome. Firefox supports full desktop extensions, so you can use ublock-origin to block ads on mobile.

This would work for 1080p but not for 4k video. The Pixel 3 has a 4032x3024 camera sensor. You don’t have enough pixels to take 4k video with the sensor rotated. It would be a bad UX to have it auto-rotate in 1080p and not 4k, so I kind of agree with not implementing that.

This is completely irrelevant. While the cable companies are the ones that pass it on to the consumers, the problem lies upstream. The networks are owned by a handful of companies. I’m providing here only the biggest of the channels the company owns:
