You can’t get “better than wired” audio quality out of wireless headphones, it’s all about minimizing quality loss. Your device needs to reencode the audio in a Bluetooth-compatible format which is typically going to cause a drop in quality (lossy -> lossy). You can mitigate some of that if both of your devices

I think you need to have Sound Search installed. It’s pre-installed on Pixel and Nexus phones but might not be on Samsungs.

Are those URPOWER water bottles manufactured by someone else and sold as generic to different brands? I know it’s a fairly simple design but I ask because there are so many brands that have an identical design. Manna, BonBon, URPOWER, MIRA...

The A8 solar sunroof just keep the fans running, not the AC. So your car will be closer to the outside temperature instead of being much hotter like it can get in the sun.

It’s a hold over from the MUDs and other text-based MMOs that preceded graphical MMOs. You couldn’t highlight text in different colors in many of those games so the only way of differentiating was to include the descriptive words. Same with creature names. When you walked into an area in a MUD it would tell you “You

I wonder why they’re pushing MicroUSB instead of switching to USB-C. There’s obviously a need for more power (hence the two inputs), why not go with a single USB-C cable that could provide more power than the two MicroUSB?

This calculator... doesn’t really help with anything. It could be useful if it would make some assumptions or do some of the math for you, but the fact that it is asking me to look up my highest tax rate and determine my hours working and commuting per year makes it less so. If it pulled in the federal and state

I don’t think primitive means what you think it means. Primitive has to do with age and originality, not to complexity.

According to a survey from CreditCards.com, 78% of people who asked to have their interest rates reduced were successful. However, only 1 in 5 people surveyed even attempted to ask.

how fast a light bulb can turn on and achieve brightness. Completely useless.

You and a few others may be willing to, but I don’t know that the market as a whole will. Nvidia’s Geforce Now service offers a selection of modern titles for $8 per month (as well as use of the hardware to render them on) and people complain that it’s not a good value.

Keep in mind that Nintendo doesn’t have exclusive rights to all of the games on those consoles. First party titles are obviously not a problem but third party would involve distribution rights with the publishers. You’d likely only be getting first party + a smattering of third party.

That’s fine with a tablet that has a battery and separate charger, but I’m not unplugging and moving the power adapter for my Shield every time I want to use a second controller.

If you read past that sentence he makes it pretty clear that it’s a bad thing for his company.

Ah, yeah. It works wired but I’m specifically looking for something that would be easily usable with my Shield TV, which is usually about 10 ft from where I’m playing. I guess I could buy a 12ft MicroUSB cable but it’s not quite as convenient as wireless.

Mind sharing how you got it up and running? I know how to put my DS4 in Bluetooth mode and I had it working with my PC, but it won’t connect to my Shield TV (even though I have other Bluetooth devices working fine with my Shield TV).

The 8BitDo controllers are nice in theory but as you mention in your post they’re tiny. I would consider one to bring around with a tablet or something but it’s way too small for regular use.

Great breakdown of the pros and cons of each. I would be interested in seeing something specific to controllers that would work well with Android. I love my Shield TV as an emulation device (and the extra power over the Raspberry Pi means it can run N64 and PSX games with better upscaling and can even handle PSP

What I found most interesting is that it’s only a little better for cheaper “indie” titles. Rocket League, at only $19.99 full price, still averaged out to a 38% discount for most buyers with the numbers above. Stardew Valley was a little better at a 19% discount.

Just because it doesn’t apply to you doesn’t mean its a myth. I’m in pharma research and this applies to everyone I know in the industry.
