It seems like he's commenting about how common rape of women is in pop culture and how desensitized we are to it, which is something the AV Club complains about all the time too.
It was actually last weekend, but I was at Bonnaroo and saw AV Club favorites Dawes and Cameron Esposito, among many others. Dawes was good but kind of forgettable, although it was weird hearing people say they really like Dawes in real life and not just as a joke online. Cameron Esposito was kind of funny, but like…
The "Nice work/What a jerk" sketch was the exact same premise as Tsk Tsk/Attaboy from season 1. I don't like repeating jokes, but it was almost worth it just for the joke about returning the movie The Cell.
"Let's, I'm Scott Auckerman. Hey there to Zach Galifinakis is here. A show tonight, our good friend say hello to. Welcome. Great Bang Bang Comedy. We've got, Reggie Watts."
That mix-up wasn't even the worst part of it. The whole sketch was bafflingly unfunny, almost like they were going for anti-humor. I thought the episode as a whole was ok, but that may be the worst sketch on snl in several years.
